60 Minute Man

Summary:
Network: ABC
Release: Fall 2006
This one hour drama focuses on husband and father John Henderson. This seemingly normal software engineer realizes that he cannot remember one hour of the day, every day. One morning, he awakens from this blackout, and is standing over a dead body in the woods. Frightened and confused John thinks he may be part of a conspiracy. He searches for answers which will put his relationship with his family to the test.

Cast and Crew:
David James Elliot is leading this new drama starring as "John Henderson". You undoubtedly remember him from his days on "J.A.G." which aired on CBS. He's a good actor. Colm Meaney is a name you don't hear that often. But again, he's a solid actor. He was most recently on "Stargate Atlantis". He will be playing "Charlie" in "60 Minute Man". Alex Fernandez will play "Larry Fitzgerald". Fernandez had a recent 6 episode arc on "Commander in Chief". He is a relatively unknown at this point. There is also a full cast list at this point, but the rest of the actors are unknowns. Which we think is a good idea. You have a great actor leading the show and given the plot things should center almost exclusively on him.

Our Take:
This show could completely ROCK! When we first heard of this project awhile back we were incredibly excited here at TV FROG. The script is cool and we were just worried about the casting. Well, David James Elliot has assuaged those fears. He is pitch perfect for this role.

The script is rumored to be HOT. As in really good. It has a "Bourne Identity" feel to it that should provide a good amount of action and intrigue to pull in viewers. In the network press release for this project they talked about the strain placed on his family. We see this part of the show as a possible weak point and pray it is done well and doesn't take away from the mystery of the rest of the plot. This whole "uncovering-a-mystery-during-a-season" time based drama is really hot right now and we like this twist on it. We are going to say this pilot will see the airwaves next Fall.
