Day Break

Summary:
Network: ABC

This hour-long drama is about Detective "Brett Hopper" who has been accused of murder. He's knows he is being framed and decides to run in order to buy enough time to figure out what is happening to him.

Cast and Crew:
Taye Diggs is really the only name worth mentioning in this pilot. The rest of the cast are unknowns. Taye was last on "Will and Grace", but of course became wildly popular from his "Ally McBeal" days.

Jeffrey Bell, Matthew Gross, and Rob Bowman are behind the pilot. Bell worked on "Alias" and Gross did the Tim Allen film "Joe Somebody". Bowman was the director for the recently cancelled "Night Stalker" remake.

Our Take:
Although we like Taye Diggs, we don't particularily like the idea behind this show. I guess if it is done really well, it might have a shot, but we are guessing it isn't. The production team doesn't have that great of a resume and predict "Day Break" will be no different. The networks would be wise to pass on this one.
