Men in Trees

This one hour drama revolves around a thirtysomething relationship therapist who ends up in a small Alaskan town after she learns that her fiance has been cheating on her.

Cast and Crew:
Anne Heche, Derek Richardson, and Emily Bergl have been cast in this ABC drama pilot. Heche of course most recently had a recurring role on theWB's "Everwood" in 2005. The same year she also had a small multi-episode arc on FX's Nip/Tuck. Richardson was just in Eli Roth's "Hostel", and Emily Bergl did a few episodes on "Gilmore Girls".

Jenny Bicks is the head writer and EP. She last worked on "Sex and the City" and is joined by James Mangold as the other EP. His last effort was "Walk the Line".

Our Take:
This drama looks promising. Very qualified and experienced writers coupled with an old pro in Heche could make this a hit drama. The supporting cast is lacking right now, but that will be firmed up closer to debut. I can honestly see this fitting in well with the current ABC lineup. After "Invasion" is dropped there should be a solid spot for a new drama.
