The Singles Table

Summary:

This is a comedy about a group of 5 complete strangers who meet and form a connection at a wedding when they are forced to sit at "The Singles Table".

Cast and Crew:
We know that the producers/writers are Bill Martin and Mike Schiff who put together "Grounded for Life" and "3rd Rock from the Sun".

As for the cast, Jarrad Paul and Rhea Seehorn have both been signed on for the pilot episode. If you are a "Monk" fan you might remember Paul from his small arc on the USA crime show this past season. Seehorn was on the VERY (2 episodes) short-lived dramedy "Head Cases" on Fox in the 2005 pilot season. She was also on the failed show "I'm With Her" in 2003.

Our Take:
Looking at the producers' work you can almost picture in your mind what this show will be (hmm...silly, and not too good). We don't bet on this baby seeing the light of day on NBC especially given the weak cast and other strong network pilots.
