Twenty Questions
Summary:
Network: ABC
Release: Fall 2006
This hour-long drama is about a young mid-level State Department staffer named "Jackson Lynch" who is on the fast-track to success in Washington. But while on assignment to deliver a message to the Syrian Embassy he witnesses a murder and hardly escapes himself. The following day he realizes that there has been a vast cover-up and that his boss' recent death may not have been so "accidental". Lynch cannot trust anyone besides his small network of friends who are lower-level staffers at various departments and agencies. Together they search for an answer.
Cast and Crew:
Jesse Bradford plays the lead character, "Jackson Lynch". You may recall him from his stint on "The West Wing" in 2005. He also starred in the feature film "Swimfan". Ben Shenkman was "Scott" on the 2006 dramedy "Love Monkey" and will play "Brian Balogh". John Heard has been around for awhile, but most recently he had a few episodes on Fox's "Prison Break".
John Wirth, Matthew Gross, and Michael Engler are behind this project. Wirth put together the failed "Love Monkey" and Gross worked on the film "Joe Somebody". Engler was Executive Producer on "Life as we Know it" for ABC.
Our Take:
This is a tough one. We like the plot layout for this show. We LOVE Jesse Bradford. But we don't like the production team one bit. Furthermore we don't think Bradford can be the single star in a project like this. He is going to need some help and at this point the pilot is already in the can, and nobody else "big" has been added to the cast. So we are going to predict this show won't make it.
